What we store

  • Your account (name, email) and subscription status.
  • Generation metadata (situation, goal, tone) and the suggestions we produced.
  • A one-way hash of your input, not the input itself.
  • Optional, opt-in memory: your style profile and any conversation summaries you save.

You can delete your saved memory and account data from Settings.

Who we are

SayNext (“we”, “us”) provides an AI communication coach. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Questions: hello@saynext.app.

Information we collect

  • Account data: your name and email. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google to create and identify your account. We do not receive your Google password.
  • Usage data: generation metadata (situation, goal, tone), the suggestions we produced, plan and usage counts, and basic analytics events.
  • Input: the text you paste is processed to generate a reply. By default we store only a one-way SHA-256 hash of it for abuse protection and anti-repetition, never the raw text. Per-conversation memory is opt-in.
  • Technical data: IP address and request metadata, used for security and rate limiting.

How we use it

To provide and secure the Service: authenticate you, generate suggestions, enforce plan limits and rate limits, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your input to train third-party models.

Google user data

When you sign in with Google, we use the name, email, and profile info you authorize solely to create and access your SayNext account. SayNext’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not share this data with third parties except the service providers below, and you can revoke access anytime in your Google Account settings.

Service providers

We share data only with the vendors that run the Service: Supabase (database and hosting of account data), Vercel (application hosting and analytics), Anthropic (the AI model that generates suggestions from your input), and Upstash (rate-limit storage). Each processes data only to provide their part of the Service.

Retention

We keep account and usage data while your account is active. Input is never stored in raw form by default. You can delete your saved memory and account data from Settings; deletion removes it from our active systems.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. You can manage memory and delete your account data in Settings, or contact us at hello@saynext.app. SayNext is not intended for children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy; we will revise the date above when we do. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated policy.
